RENT $1,000 – Discounted or $100/hr hourly rates may apply depending on the specific details of your event
Long-term  / Multiple rentals are available with reduced hourly rates on weekdays & discounted full day rates
Rental / Damage DEPOSIT Required to Confirm Booking – Rent due prior to event.
We set up and take down Tables & Chairs according to your floor plan.
All Rentals are subject to Scandinavian Centre Protocols at the time of the event.

Sound System: Multiple Wi-Fi Connections, Mixer Board Optimized for hall so it is user friendly, Bluetooth Sound, Wired microphones and Stands, Wireless Mic receiver set to Channel Y6, speakers 4 on Dance Floor & 4 on seating area plus 2 Stage Monitor Speakers, CD / USB player.
Light Mixer Board – 1 Spotlight on Stage and 3 on Dance Floor area
Projector & Screen available at extra cost

Commercial Kitchen includes:

  • Commercial 6 Burner Gas Stove with 2 large ovens
  • Commercial Cooler & Dishwasher, Microwave oven
  • Coffee Urns, Dishes, Cutlery, Utensils, Serving platters etc.
  • Cook or bring in your own Caterers

Bar – separate area with Cooler & Freezer

Renter provides bartender.  We need to see the original copy of your appropriate liquor permit prior to your event – Public Events / Fundraisers require a Public Liquor Permit from AGLC!  Special Event Licence – Private Resale for private events (AGLC Liquor permits available online or through AGLC directly)- Alcohol Service to 11 pm & guests out at Midnight, Renter to clean and be out before 1 AM.  The original and all receipts must be posted in the bar during your event.

Saga Board Room

  • Lower Level | Maximun Fire Code Capacity: 20
  • Rent $150 for 3 hour event – Discounted, hourly or day rates may be available depending on specific details of your event.
  • Sink in room for coffee service & Same level washroom facilities
  • Oval table with power/USB plug in, TV wireless capability with Wi-Fi Access /DVD Players,
  • Coffee – Kuerig (Pods or Pot) Coffee Maker & Cups upon request (bring own coffee supplies)
  • Saga Room – limitations on external/public rentals due to Library Book access
  • Lower Level Access – back parking lot
  • Icelandic, Finnish, Norwegian & Swedish Libraries
  • Library open to during office hours

Heritage Room

  • Rent $150 for 3 hours – Discounted or hourly rates available depending on specific details of your event
  • Meetings, Seminars, Workshops, Small Dinners, Children’s Room, Birthdays or small events
  • Wi-Fi, projector screen and small Kitchen with dishes etc
  • Portable projector available at extra cost
  • Open space for activities ( dance, yoga, aerobic etc. )
  • Tables available for meetings.

  • Adjoining door to Saga Room if wanting to rent 2 rooms.
  • Lockers for internal groups with restricted access by appointment when not rented.
