Saturday June 20 2:00 pm @ Ersson’s Ranch in High River.
Maypole – Please do not bring flowers as there is an abundance of wild flowers to pick and decorate the maypole.
Pot Luck Supper- South Calgary bring a Fish/seafood/green salad and bread/butter/cheese dish. North Calgary bring meat and dessert dish. Also bring your own beverages, plates, cups, cutlery and lawn chairs for your own use. There is a barn where the food will be placed on tables.
Directions: South on Highway #2 to Highway # 23 to High River.
In High River on 12th Ave pass the school, motel, MacDonalds etc then at 88th Street (just before the railroad crossing) turn South and go 3 km, at 562nd Ave turn west for 7 km. The Ersson’s have a Dalahorse at the entrance.

Sons of Norway Syttende Mai Celebrations
Sunday May 17th
3:00 pm – Ceremony at City Hall
4:00 pm – At the Scandinavian Centre, the parade starts, led by Egil Bjørnsen with his flügelhorn. Activities and hotdogs for the children will follow.
5:30 pm – Adult program begins
6:30 pm – Roast beef supper
Entertainment by the Scandinavian Centre Choir and the Nordic Folkdancers
Supper tickets: Adults $30, Youth (13-18) $15, under 13 Free
